December 2025 – Holiday Tension Explodes Into a Full Feud
Christmas in Los Angeles is supposed to be warm, peaceful, family-centered… but this year, the holiday spirit doesn’t stand a chance against the latest eruption in the decades-long rivalry between Brooke Logan and Dr. Taylor Hayes.
What starts as mild tension escalates into a full Christmas war, affecting Ridge, Steffy, Hope, Finn, and even Eric and Donna. Below is the full, extended spoiler arc.

THE SETUP – Ridge Spends Thanksgiving With Taylor
Though Thanksgiving is over, the damage is not. Brooke is still fuming that Ridge chose to spend the holiday afternoon at Steffy’s with Taylor, sitting side-by-side, laughing, sharing memories, and acting like the happy little “family” Brooke thought was long gone.
She tries to brush it off as nothing, but everyone who knows Brooke sees it:
the insecurity, the jealousy, the fear that history is repeating itself.
And Ridge? He’s not helping. He keeps referring to Thanksgiving as “nice,” “warm,” and “so comfortable,” especially around Taylor.

THE FIRST STRIKE – A ‘Friendly’ Gift Exchange
Steffy hosts a pre-Christmas gift exchange. Brooke wasn’t technically invited, but Hope brings her as support.
When Taylor hands Ridge a personal gift—a vintage artist’s fountain pen, the kind he used to sketch with in the early 2000s—it sends Brooke spiraling.
Ridge gets emotional. Too emotional.
Brooke blurts out, in front of half the room:
“Why is Taylor giving my husband intimate little gifts?”
The room freezes. Taylor calmly replies that it isn’t intimate—just “sentimental.”
Brooke snaps back:
“That’s exactly the problem.”
The holiday peace is officially over.

THE WAR BEGINS – Ridge is the Battlefield
For the next two weeks:
Brooke pressures Ridge
- to set boundaries
- to stop spending long hours alone with Taylor
- to stop reminiscing
- to stop letting Taylor treat him like “her man”
Ridge pushes back, insisting Brooke is overreacting.
He claims Taylor is simply helping with “creative direction” for Eric while he recovers.
But Brooke sees exactly what’s happening.
Taylor is slowly inching her way back into Ridge’s life.

Taylor vents to Steffy
Taylor insists Brooke is insecure, controlling, and projecting her own guilt because Brooke is the one who usually cheats, lies, or manipulates.
Steffy, of course, sides with her mother.
She reignites the “Taylor is Ridge’s true destiny” campaign she once waged so aggressively.

THE TREE LIGHTING DISASTER – Brooke Snaps
Forrester Creations hosts a Christmas tree lighting event.
Eric’s health is still fragile, but he attends and wants the whole family together.
When Ridge asks Taylor to stand next to him for a family photo, Brooke loses it.
She walks up, steps into the frame, and says through clenched teeth:
“If you want a photo with my husband, Taylor, you can wait until I’m dead.”
Gasps.
Donna’s jaw drops.
Steffy looks like Christmas just came early.
Taylor, calm but cutting, responds:
“I’ve lived without Ridge before. You might try doing the same.”

Eric nearly collapses from the stress and Donna has to usher him away.
THE CHRISTMAS WAR GOES PUBLIC
Whispers, shade, passive-aggressive comments—it all spills into the office.
Employees start taking sides.
Hope is furious.
Steffy is smug.
Even Zende makes a comment about “some people fighting like it’s 1994 again.”
Brooke accuses Taylor of trying to worm her way back into Ridge’s arms by playing the “concerned friend.”
Taylor accuses Brooke of being paranoid and insecure because she knows Ridge still loves Taylor “on a deeper level.”
And Ridge?
He tells both women to “grow up,” which—predictably—makes things worse.

THE CLIMAX – CHRISTMAS EVE ERUPTS
The Forrester mansion hosts a Christmas Eve dinner.
Everyone is on edge, fully expecting disaster.
Tension explodes when:
- Ridge makes a toast thanking Taylor for all the emotional support she’s given him.
- Brooke’s face turns red.
- Taylor touches Ridge’s hand, gently, warmly, too familiar.
Brooke stands up and unloads:
“You’re not going to use Christmas as an excuse to steal my husband again. Not this time.”
Taylor fires back:
“Maybe if he felt loved at home, he wouldn’t need someone else to give it to him.”
Ridge yells their names—Eric coughs loudly—Donna demands they both leave.
The night ends with Brooke storming out, Ridge chasing after her, and Taylor insisting she did nothing wrong.

JANUARY FALLOUT – THE WAR CONTINUES
The Christmas chaos spills directly into January:
⭐ Ridge pulls back from BOTH women
He claims he’s tired of being fought over. Spoiler: that won’t last.
⭐ Steffy blames Brooke
She tells Ridge that Brooke will always ruin holidays.
⭐ Hope blames Taylor
She accuses Taylor of hiding behind “therapist boundaries” while breaking them constantly.
⭐ Eric urges Taylor to retreat
But Taylor refuses—she says Brooke is bullying her.
⭐ The rivalry becomes a story centerpiece again
Two matriarchs.
One man.
A decades-long war reignited.
